YAF · PROGRAM 01
Youth Advocacy Fellowship
FOR
TGNCNBI New Yorkers ages 16 to 25
DURATION
Multi-month cohort
A statewide fellowship that trains the next generation of TGNCNBI leaders. Fellows learn advocacy, storytelling, grassroots organizing, and policy fundamentals through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on projects. Graduates leave with skills, a network, and a paid internship placement.

Alumni stay connected to NYTAG through continuing education, advocacy opportunities, mentorship of new fellows, and pathways into paid roles across the organization. The Alumni Program is where leadership development becomes lifelong.

Health & Wellness

DURATION
The annual TGNCNBI Wellness Summit brings hundreds of community members together for a day of care, connection, and knowledge. Between summits, quarterly workshops address specific health topics: affirming care access, mental health, harm reduction, and more.

A BIPOC TGNCNBI-led advisory board that shapes NYTAG's programs, priorities, and advocacy strategy. The CAB ensures the organization stays accountable to the communities it serves and that leadership decisions are made with those most affected.
