yOUNG aDULT tgnc/nb Advocacy Shadow Program

The Young Adult TGNC/NB Policy Program provides an opportunity for our next generation of leaders to become civically engaged in their communities. Through an intensive week long summer shadow program, TGNCNB activists develop their personal & professional advocacy skills. Participants will be guided through several training modules to develop their advocacy skills, learn about local and national government initiatives, and shadow an elected official (varies by program).

The week long curriculum aims to educate participants on current legislative issues, civic engagement, and advocacy skills. This program will allow young adults use their lived experiences to help elected officials understand how their policies directly affect them and their TGNCNB community.
