New York Transgender Advocacy’s
Junior Board

The New York Transgender Advocacy Groups (NYTAG), junior board is a dedicated group of young professional future leaders; in their 20s & 30s, with a philanthropic focus on LGBTQ advocacy.  The purpose of the group is to help increase awareness of the transgender community and raise funds to support the transformative programming.

Our current Jr. Board creates an exciting environment where young professionals can deepen their understanding of community issues, gain governance experience, and socialize while advancing their personal and professional and growing their network.  

Member Responsibilities:

All members of the junior board will:

  • collectively host 3 fundraising and social events per calendar year  

  • raise community awareness about the needs of TGNC individuals

  • strive to recruit at least three active new members

  • meet, mingle, and work with other like-minded peers

  • collaborate with NYTAG’S Board of Directors and senior leadership

  • access exclusive access to events, tours, and guest speakers

If you’re interested in a position on the Jr. Board please fill out the application by Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Qualified applicants will be invited to interview and the 2018-2019 Jr. Board.
